Do you charge for a consultation?

No, there is no charge for an initial consultation about your HR project needs.

What type of projects can you deliver?

I can deliver any HR related projects but have particular experience and expertise around multi-disciplinary projects working with other functions in your organisation such as IT and finance. And for projects delivering process improvements with systems, data and ways of working.

Will you work on our site or remotely?

I can work in any location (although may need to charge travel expenses to your offices) and will be flexible depending on your requirements and those of the project.

Do I need to supply anything (IT etc)?

You will need to supply work space for when I work at your site and access to your internal systems relevant to the project I am delivering. I can, however, use the CG Pro-Active HR IT equipment if you can supply the remote access means.

Are we tied in to a long contract with you or is there a minimum contract period?

There are no ongoing contract terms when you engage CG Pro-Active HR and no lengthy tie-in. I will agree likely timescales and commitments prior to starting a project for your organisation, and keep you updated if this might change.

How much do you charge?

My charges will vary depending on the requirements of the project I am delivering for you. I will discuss specific charges as part of my initial consultation with you. As part of delivering your project, I will also need to pass on travel and other relevant expenses, although I do not charge VAT.

Once my charges are confirmed with you, I will often ask for a percentage of the charges to be paid up front and the remainder on completion. For some lengthy projects, we may also discuss and agree staged payments during the project.   

Are you CIPD qualified?

Yes, I gained my level 7 equivalent CIPD qualification some years ago and have recently gained my Chartered CIPD status. In addition, I have qualifications in delivering training, agile project management, Equality & Diversity and DSE assessment, and have over 20 years’ generalist HR experience.

What insurance cover do you have in place

I have professional indemnity insurance in place to cover all HR work delivered.
