Bromford had recently created a new partnership with Merlin Housing but not yet amalgamated any internal processes.
Bromford had procured a new Occupational Health (OH) provider, COPE, to deliver their services across the new merged organisation. The new service needed to be implemented with 2 internal HR teams and 2 internal H&S teams, as well as phasing out two previous providers and the usual transfer of employee records.
I led a project to ensure successful implementation of a new OH provider for Bromford.
The project involved engagement with internal HR and H&S teams, senior leaders and 3 external OH providers plus some liaison with IT and Finance colleagues. Taking existing knowledge, systems and requirements in to account, I created unified processes, developed guidance notes and delivered coaching sessions for all internal OH users.
Additionally, I worked with Bromford’s Project One programme to ensure that the new OH processes implemented by my project fitted with and were incorporated in to the wider system integration plans that were ongoing for the newly merged organisation.
My achievements in this project were:
Successfully set up systems and processes for internal HR and H&S teams to use the new OH provider effectively.
Seamless data transfer for employee records from previous providers to new OH provider, meeting all GDPR requirements.
Produced guidance documents for HR and H&S teams to use.
Effective, ongoing, stakeholder management
Made a meaningful contribution to the relevant process mapping for new Bromford systems in progress under their Project One programme.
I delivered all of the above within the required, agreed timescales (although this was affected slightly due to staffing issues within COPE, revised timescales were agreed by Bromford).
