Error checking

Error checking.....how do you check work before it leaves your department or organisation? What are the implications of not checking errors?

I'm all for avoiding micromanagement and letting employees deliver their work. But, you do need to have some processes in place to follow and a fall back for checking errors.

So, how did this misspelt sign seen in my local area recently happen? Luckily, the incorrect spelling on this sign is not likely to cause any major road issues and, having been notified, the local council is correcting the error.
