Case study: Suited for success

Interview Coaching and Workshops

The Challenge

Suited for Success believes helping unemployed men and women with interview skills and a suitable interview outfit will give them the confidence they need to make that positive first impression and get a job that could change their life.

Suited for Success is an award winning charity based in Birmingham providing free high-quality interview clothes, styling and interview preparation for out of work men and women.

Project Delivered

I volunteer regularly delivering interview coaching with Suited for Success clients. This can include mock interviewing, reviewing CV’s and providing guidance on interview skills.

Additionally, I am working with Suited for Success’s ‘Applying with Conviction’ programme developing workshops to focus on supporting ex-offenders in their job search. In addition to interview coaching, these workshops include advice on how to disclose conviction history, how disclosure might be reviewed by a prospective employer and provide practice on ways for applicants to answer any challenging questions.

Outcome

This is an ongoing commitment with every session receiving really positive feedback from clients. You can view client feedback here - https://www.suitedforsuccess.co.uk/client-testimonials
